Exercise is commonly used by physiotherapists when working with people living with pain. Whilst exercise has been shown to have many health benefits and is supported by the evidence base, there can be challenges faced when engaging in exercise, specifically flare ups. Using a biopsychosocial approach this lecture aims to draw from various bodies of research to formulate an approach to using exercise dosage within chronic pain management.
